On 06.10.2018, a guest lecture on ‘The Formation and Evolution of Temple Architecture in Tamil Nadu’ was delivered by Dr. S. Kannan, Assistant Professor of History, Raja Dorai Singam Government Arts College, Sivagangai. As a part of the programme, the students were taken to the nearby temple at Thenkarai where they were shown the features of a Shiva Temple.
