The students of History are trained to clean and perform conservation work at heritage sites. This also tunes with the Swachhatta (Clean India) Action Plan of the Government of India. On 15.09.2018, a team of 50 students visited the Tirumalai Nayak Palace, a historical monument and a popular tourism attraction at Madurai and cleaned its premises.
